On 21 February the General Pharmaceutical Council held the First Forum of its Social Advisory Board under the slogan “A comprehensive approach to the pending issue Mental Health,”, during which the study “Mental Health in Spain” was presented. This report gathers, in a single document, all the available data on the prevalence, causes, risk factors, care systems and resources associated with mental health problems, as well as several recommendations. Promoted by the General Council, this study is a research project from the Barcelona Institute for Global Health and was collaborated on by the 15 organisations which form the Social Advisory Board of the Pharmaceutical Profession, representing different groups in civil society.
