On May 5 elections were held for the candidacy of the General Pharmaceutical Council of Spain as well as several section memberships. In the general candidacy, the one presented by Jesús Aguilar was elected by 39 votes in favor against 13 votes obtained by the candidacy presented by Sergio Marco. Jesús Aguilar thanked all the presidents to whom he said that "once the electoral process is over, it is time for all the presidents to continue working together to build the future of Pharmacy and the Pharmaceutical Profession".
