On December 15, the Minister of Health, Carolina Darias, presided over the General Pharmaceutical Council's Awards and Medals ceremony. During her speech, Darias thanked "the role played by experts and pharmaceutical research institutions as well as the pharmacies on the ground, the pharmacists, technicians and pharmacy staff who opened their community pharmacies during the toughest times of the pandemic". Jesús Aguilar asked the Minister of Health to promote, in conjunction with the Autonomous Communities, a comprehensive Plan for Spanish Pharmacy, "which provides certainty and agreements that allow pharmacists to move forward and contribute their full value proposition to the Health System".
