The General Pharmaceutical Council of Spain has published its annual report "Statistics of Registered Pharmacists and Community Pharmacies", an in-depth study of the pharmaceutical profession in Spain. At the end of 2020, there were 76,821 registered pharmacists and 22,137 community pharmacies in Spain. The pharmaceutical profession continues to grow in all its areas of activity, with 1,561 more members, as well as the network of pharmacies integrating 53 new ones and consolidates itself as the closest and most accessible. A healthcare network in which 54,555 pharmacists carry out their healthcare work, with an average of 2,144 citizens per pharmacy
