The General Pharmaceutical Council of Spain has awarded the 2025 Grants for Development Cooperation Projects, which supports those who work to meet the basic health needs of the most vulnerable and poorest communities in developing countries.

The beneficiaries of this 26th edition will enable projects to be promoted for access to and rational use of medicines in 25 communities in Santo Domingo and Puerto Plata, in the Dominican Republic; improve access to medicines in the hospital pharmacy service at Saint Joseph's Hospital in Kitgum and technical training at Makerere University in Uganda; the training of local pharmacists in the prevention of skin cancer in people with albinism in Malawi; and pharmacotherapeutic intervention and health protection for 58 children with disabilities in the context of the humanitarian emergency in Haiti.
