On 20 September, the Andalusian Parliament hosted an institutional meeting with representatives of Spanish and World Pharmacy to commemorate the celebration of World Pharmacists' Day. On this occasion, pharmacists took the opportunity to present an institutional declaration which, according to Jesús Aguilar, President of the General Pharmaceutical Council of Spain, is shared with "authorities, society, citizens and patients, and reflects the firm commitment of the Spanish Pharmacy to advance - together with the four million pharmacists from the five continents - in the creation of a healthier world".
