Following the elections of the General Pharmaceutical Council of Spain, which opened and closed on 18 March, the nomination led by Jesús Aguilar was proclaimed elected, as no other candidacy contested the elections.
Jesús Aguilar thanked all the presidents of the Provincial Pharmacy Chambers for their trust to renew its mandate as head of the Pharmacy Representative Bodies.
Mr. Aguilar then declared that he and the elected Steering Committee are committed to three milestones: "To continue fighting to place the pharmaceutical profession where it belongs in the healthcare sector as a whole, in all areas of practice; to work tirelessly to ensure that no Chamber, Pharmacy or Pharmacist is left behind; and keep working to ensure that the pharmaceutical profession continues to provide its best".
