On March 16, Madrid hosted the conference Serialization of Medicines: 2 years of experience, jointly hosted by the General Pharmaceutical Council of Spain, through its Industry section, and by the Spanish Association of Pharmacists in Industry (AEFI). They took stock of the process during these two past years since the Spanish Medicines Verification System (SEVeM) came into operation in February 2019; in addition to addressing the most immediate challenges in this area.
