One in four patients attending a community pharmacy benefits from Clinical Professional Pharmacy Services (CPPS) beyond dispensing.
This is one of the conclusions of the preliminary data of the “economic, social and health value of CPPS” report; presented in the framework of the 23rd National Pharmacy Congress in Valencia. Among the most widespread services are measuring and monitoring biological parameters (98% of pharmacies), minor ailment service (87%), personalized dosage systems (65%), health education (62%) and therapeutic adherence (56%), disease
screening (39%) and substance misuse (34%).
