The Council of Ministers approved the Royal Decree approving the new Statutes of the General Pharmaceutical Council of Spain, thus culminating a historic process of regulatory modernization, long promoted by the collegiate organization.
The new regulatory framework, which replaces the one in force since 1957, adds to a broader reform of the governance of the profession that already approved in 2018 its Code of Ethics, recently modified to include, in a pioneering way, the environmental component.
Among the changes introduced in the new bylaws, the mandates of the steering committee are limited and digital administration is facilitated.
